Sena's story began 20+ years ago when its owners, then working in tech, developed personal headsets they could use to communicate while riding their motorcycles. More than a decade later they brought the SMH10 Bluetooth headset to market, and today there are over 3 million Sena systems on the road.

Now they've brought their revolutionary technology to the bike industry in the form of the R1 and X1 Smart Cycling Helmets. With a fully integrated Bluetooth communication system, users can pair with a smartphone to hear GPS directions, listen to music, take phone calls and even hear instant feedback and cues from fitness apps monitoring stats such as speed, cadence and heart rate. It also allows them to talk via intercom with up to three other riders over a half mile distance.
